The architectural treasures of 30s modernism are just one example. What else is worth visiting while in this city?

Kościuszko Square and the pier.

The most popular place on the map of Gdynia and a must-see for every tourist. Most often, city concerts and events are organized here. The seaside promenade is full of cafes and souvenir shops. It is worth seeing the ships moored at the quay, visiting the deck of the destroyer "ORP Błyskawica" and seeing the sailing ship "Dar Pomorza".

Orłowo Pier.

A charming wooden pier in the picturesque southern district of Gdynia with much fewer visitors than in Sopot. It offers beautiful views of the nearby Orłowski Cliff, which is a part of the Bay of Gdańsk. The 650m long, steep, forested shore is an ideal place for a romantic walk.

Emigration Museum.

It is worth visiting this place to learn something about the history of Polish emigration. The multimedia museum is located in the building of the Maritime Station, where transatlantic ships once sailed from. You will learn the fate of famous and completely anonymous Poles around the world. You can feel like a third-class passenger for a moment and learn about the migratory reality of communist times.

Design Center.

The institution located in the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park supports design and creative activities and promotes all Pomeranian projects related to them. Numerous architectural, design, graphic, fashion and technological shows, workshops and exhibitions are organized here. Worth visiting.

Musical Theater in Gdynia.

The largest musical theater in Poland and the second largest theater in the country. The largest musical and cultural events take place here. The theater, which has existed since 1958, has staged over 340 premieres during its operation. It organizes not only performances and concerts, but also exhibitions and galas.
